Google+ just deleted my photos on Blogger

I'm so upset about this. It seems that Google+ and Blogger host photos in the same place. When I opened my Google+ account, it gave me one of those automatic messages about importing photos from Blogger, which, unthinkingly, I did. I then thought, again unthinkingly, that nobody really needed to see such random pictures on my Google+ account and deleted the album. But Google+ failed to tell me that it would delete all my blogger photos...permanently.

They're gone. All gone.

I may just close this blog down. I may just close my stupid Google+ account down too.

Oh no, that's terrible! I'm now even more glad that I moved my blog to WordPress and utterly disassociated my blog identity from Google products. But that's cold comfort to you. What the heck? Why weren't there warnings about what those actions meant? You should send feedback to G+ and Blogger. That's just awful.

Oh no! I'm so sorry! I feel bad cos I could have told you that Blogger is owned by Google... :o( I suppose they did technically warn you, but they should absolutely make it clearer - definitely get in touch with them. Also, they might be able to retreive them, it's worth asking.

Well, I don't remember any warning about deleting my photos from blogger! I think had I been warned about that I'd have refrained!!
